What are the test reference standards for bag hardware?

REACH Compliance, CAProp65 Compliance for bag hardware

REACH Compliance:

The bag hardware must comply with the European Union’s Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 on the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) to be legally sold in the EU. This regulation requires all substances used in the production of the bag hardware to be properly identified, assessed for their potential risks, and approved for use. Additionally, the manufacturer must provide the necessary safety information to any customer who purchases the bag hardware.

California Proposition 65 Compliance:

The bag hardware must also comply with California’s Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, also known as California Proposition 65 (Prop 65). This law requires manufacturers of consumer products to provide clear, reasonable warnings on products that contain any of the 900+ chemicals listed by the state of California as known to cause cancer, congenital disabilities, or other reproductive harm. To comply with Prop 65 requirements, the manufacturer must provide proper warning labels on the bag hardware.
